Formigables is a contemporary dance-theater piece inspired by Aesop’s The Ant and the Grasshopper. It examines what it means to be a “good citizen” today. Between humor and critique, the work exposes the pressure to remain constantly productive in an increasingly unstable world.

Through recognizable figures – the perfect couple, politicians, therapists and patients, distracted consumers, rebellious youth – the performance unfolds and dismantles their internal battles, contradictions, and vulnerabilities. Combining movement, dialogue, and comedy, Formigables is a playful, imperfect manifesto that celebrates the humanity hidden behind our social masks. An invitation to question the ideals that govern us – and find, amid global chaos, a more authentic way to inhabit the world.
