Neilor Moreno
Neilor Moreno is an artist born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with training in Theatre Performance (CAL, Brazil), Dramatic Corporeal Mime and Physical Theatre (Moveo, Barcelona), and a postgraduate degree in Performing Arts and Social Action from the Institut del Teatre (Barcelona).
He is currently a member of Cia. Moveo, whose show Conseqüències (2017) was awarded for its focus on social and emotional issues through physical theatre.
As a director, he has created the solo piece Migrante (2018), which reflects on identity and migration, and the physical theatre shows Go Slow (2019) and It’s Easy (2020), which explore street-based physical theatre.
In film, he has collaborated with Mexican director Fernando Frías on No voy a pedirle a nadie que me crea (2023) for Netflix, and with French director Mila Roulx on Un cauchemar d’oiseaux (2024).
Throughout his career, he has worked as a performer, movement assistant, and teacher in various international projects in Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, France, and many other countries.
